I liked the movie Frequency in which the characters were able to change the timeline by two-way communication between different time periods.
I also saw The Philadelphia Experiment 2 which featured a reality in which the Nazis won World War II. The hero must revert this outcome which came about because of a time-traveling experiment. I saw it a long time ago so I kinda forgot about it....

shareFlight of the Navigator was pretty badass for a kid's movie. Maybe it's partly nostalgia, but I thought it had a lot of depth.
Vanilla Sky is relevant to the subject material, but it's actually about a brain injury.
Annihilation is a great cosmic horror, although it's not about alternate realities at all, but it's about reality behaving differently, so that's kinda similar.

Flight of the Navigator is awesome, from what i remember, which aint much. My grade 6 teacher made us watch it at least twice. Maybe i was just happy not to be doing school work!
