'Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto' held here Toronto in 2003. Also known as the Sars Concert. There were 450,000-500,000 people there. The lineup included The Stones, AC/DC, The Guess Who and Rush among others. It was a good day.

The Presidential Election. It's a pretty big event.

reply

so there were a million people in the school gym where you voted?

reply

Well, the particular school gym couldn't contain all the participants so they were forced to use other venues as well. All over the country! Crazy, right?

reply

you got to get out more.

reply

Nah, I'm fine. I watch the news on TV everyday. I see the WORLD!

Probably a school assembly, lol. Or maybe some local town festival thing. I've had an uneventful life. Also I live in the middle of nowhere, and I dislike crowds.

reply

I just went to the St Louis Blues parade, the attendance was 500,000

well done

thanks, mang!

Probably some concert when I was in my twenties but I have no idea of the number of people there. More recently it would be the weekly summertime concerts in the park here. The free concerts start in early June and run through the end of August. The most popular band appears the final week and the estimated crowd is around 17,000. Lame by what you mentioned, but where I live is not the big city.

never been to a twins or vikings game ?

reply

Never been to a Vikings game - way out of my financial league. I have been to a few Twins games, although I couldn't begin to guess how many people were there at the time. It was years ago. But hey, they won again tonight. 👍 They're having a really good year this season. I've yet to see a game at their new ballpark. Maybe one of these days...

reply

what about North Stars??

reply

You haven't forgotten that the North Stars are no more. They moved to Dallas and became the Stars. And no, I've never gone to a Wild game either. Don't slap me too hard but I'm not a fan of pro hockey. I quit watching it many years ago because of the fights. I tuned in to watch hockey, not fistfights and brawls. I have been to a Minnesota Gopher hockey game though. I went with my brother who has season tickets, which is about the only way to get a ticket. It was pretty cool to experience the crowd's energy, and I got to see my nephew - he's the director of the hockey pep band.

reply

I knew you would remember the North Stars.

reply
