Have you ever been inside of a mosque?

yes it is quite beautiful and you have to remove your shoes.

Never but I'd like to see the really fancy ones that have water gardens and cool tiling on the walls
I know very little about their beliefs but the art and architecture seem very interesting

Yes, the Blue Mosque in Istanbul is breathtaking.

I've been inside the mosque just down the street where my grandmother lived. Nothing special, just white walls and carpet. Just like churches, there are pretty and ugly mosques. I can tell you that the daily call to prayer always scared the crap out of me as a kid.
