Should children be taught the holocaust?
I learned about it in 4th grade and I remember being quite disturbed by the whole ordeal.

shareOf course they should.
shareYou're Chinese, huh?
share40 million gentiles (that didn't matter) died to save 6 million Jews. Never forget 6 million. If it's 5.99999999 million, you go to jail. Every atrocity story is true from soap and lampshades to babies in incubators. Oh, and they definitely didn't try to claim a holocaust in World War I either.

Wow!
Well written, interesting and thought provoking
Well done twinA👍
4th grade is probably too early. Years ago 10th grade social studies was European Studies and that is when the Holocaust was discussed. Kids on average are more emotionally balanced to take it as a 15-16 year old versus being under 10. I don't want kids to be naive but too much is pushed too young outside of schools as it is. Then we wonder why society is so messed up.
shareYep, as well as the rape of Nanking and Unit 731.
