Worst Scorsese movie

Bringing Out the Dead (1999) would have to be close.

After Hours is my least favourite of his films. I would still rate it 6/10. Bringing Out The Dead is pretty good, a 7/10 for me.

reply

I haven't seen After Hours. It has a 7.7 rating.

reply

Haha. Been running into you a lot lately. Personally, I love After Hours, and it's a rare Scorsese comedy. It's super, and has the late John Heard in a good role. Plus Catherine O'Hara, I believe an unknown Linda Fiorentino, Cheech and Chong are a running gag, it's just loopy fun.

reply

I must get around to watching this.

reply

I'm not a fan of The Aviator or Kundun

reply

For me, it's 'The Color of Money'.

I thought that 'The Hustler' was an almost perfect film, thus I was disappointed with TCoM.
Plus, with the exception of The Last Samurai and All the Right Moves, I am not a fan of Tom Cruise. So having to watch 2 hours of him was too much for me.

Oh, and for the record, I like 'After Hours', a lot.

reply

I agree. I didn't hate it, but it's my least favorite among his films that I've seen.

reply

The Wolf of Wall Street... I'm apparently the only person on the planet who hated it.

reply

I don't hate it, but I feel like after Goodfellas, WOWS was weak sauce. MS going back to the same well, especially with the voice over.
