Quite true
Still, i sort of enjoyed Jaws 2, stupid as it was lol

reply

I think Jaws 2 wasn't needed but still passable.
The rest were down right horrible.
I actually saw Jaws 3D in the theater. Even as a kid I knew it was bad.

reply

Funny
I saw Jaws 3D as a kid in the theater too...wore those cardboard glasses and pigged out on popcorn...
Yup, even a little kid knew that movie stunk like yesterdays garbage!

reply

Always loved the glasses though.
Would take them home and think everything was in 3D.

"that movie stunk like yesterdays garbage!"
Always the poet. lol

Halloween
Part 2 was pretty fun though...

reply

You know, I don't really have a problem with slasher movies having sequels. I just don't like what they did with the Halloween series.

reply

Halloween ran off the rails after part 2...i have seen the rest and agree, they are awful and make zero sense

I am a fan of Rob Zombie's remake of the original though (his part 2 was a bit stupid imo)
Did you see those?

reply

I've seen the first and I can't say I'm a fan, to be honest

reply

Yeah, a lot of people disliked it and Zombie's part 2 was really silly

I guess i just love Rob Zombie...i think hes a hell of a horror director

Ghostbusters
Blues Brothers
The Mask
Basic Instinct
Speed
Chinatown
Saturday Night Fever
The Sting
The Fugitive

Indeed. Those are just what came to mind.

have not seen one of these.

reply

Yeah, you mentioned some good examples.

reply

Caddyshack

Jurassic Park. Everything about that movie said "This was a bad idea" (as in, in movie, not the movie itself), so WHY would anyone try again or do ANYTHING other than nuke the entire island (like in the book)?

reply

The Matrix

reply

Speed
The Matrix
Back to the Future
The Sting
Grease
The Mummy

reply

I can proudly say I haven't seen one of these.

reply

Are you referring to the sequels or the originals???

reply

the sequels. for the most part they usually suck.

reply

Yes, they do.

reply

I happen to like BTTF II but not III.

Matrix II was amazing for the special effects.

Grease II is a crime.
