Finding Notifications on Threads In Email That I Am Not Notified By On Here - General Discussion Discussion

Hmmm I would rather just get accurate notifications here & stop getting emails.

I like emails because I can see the emojis. I cannot see the emojis on here, they come up as rectangles.

Email notifications are optional. You can turn them off. Just click on your profile then click on edit profile than turn them off. 😊

This used to happen often enough on IMDb, for unknown reasons -- one kind of a glitch or another.

Thanks to Jim, we are able to use this site for no cost unless we want to contribute. It's hardly insane that occasionally we don't get email notifications for a few replies.

Yes I had a PM (my first!) which sat there for five days until I accidentally tapped the pm envelope. I had no notification.

But never mind it was a nice surprise anyway!

I found a notification for PM under a little bell instead of a little envelope. Check and see if that PM is in your regular notifications list.

I did and it wasnt but the next PM was there straight away.Anyway I found it and it's all good.

Email Jim and let him know about the glitch. He encourages us to email him about bugs so he can fix them as soon as possible.
