Now that's a reboot I can actually get behind. It modernizes the original show while paying homage to it. This film was a cross between The Breakfast Club, Chronicle, and Power Rangers. I had a really good time watching this one as I originally thought it was going to suck going into it.

Anybody else feel the movie was better than expected?

It was as good as I hoped it would be, if that answers your question. It was definitely more re-watchable than I thought. I could literally re-watch it now, no qualms, it's that good.

It had an equal share of pleasant surprises and drawbacks, but overall I enjoyed it.
