I am loving it! This is the fifth and final season of this show which is a new imagining of Hitchcock's film, Psycho. It departs some from the film, but tries to tell the story of Norman Bates prior to the "shower scene".
Love that show. I've been watching since season 1.
I need more scenes with Romero. He's very pretty. I miss Normero shipping.
WTF is Chick's deal?
He's gonna get himself killed.
Chick is using is insinuation into Norman's life for his "suspense novel". Remember he told Norman he was writing this? I think he is fascinated by Norman's psyche. But he has other motives. I think he thinks he'll hit pay dirt when and if Norman goes back to the sanitarium. Chick probably thinks he'll take over the motel, the house, he prob thinks there is money stashed in the house, as well. I hate him and I'm just not sure why he is figuring so prominently in nearly every episode.
Popcorn- he is definitely going to get killed. I don't remember that his character was in the book.
I know he's writing a novel but duuuude, once you discover your muse kills people and keeps his frozen mom in his basement, you don't try to move in! You are gonna be the victim in your own true crime novel.
Also that viking burial for Caleb was silly because his body is going to wash up somewhere. It would not be completely burnt, the teeth and skull would still be able to identify him.
It's really a great show. You'd think it'd be hard to live in Hitchcock's shadow, but the show has always been solid. Can't wait to see how it ends... or begins, rather.
And you throw some Sons of Anarchy vets on there, Kenny Johnson and Ryan Hurst? I start to get biased because of that. Just caught up on the most recent episode, and it upsets me.
I think he will get more people at his HH booth this weekend, esp since there is or was going to be a
Bates Motel Panel. I saywas, because Freddie, Max and Nestor were supposed to all appear, but now have all canceled. :((((
