Movie: The Promise has a 4.1 and 38 on metacritic.

The movie hasn't been released yet, but due to turkish internet trolls the movie is being bashed for the wrong reason. A great director named: Terry George who made movies like: In the name of the father and Hotel Rwanda.

I looked at this trailer and thought this movie might be a new masterpiece like his other films.
Terrible to hear the astrociaus news that the turkish people deny such a movement what has been represented in the past and the Otteman empire.

This isn't the first time Turkish internet trolls deny's such facts. This is a horrible way to present an upcoming movie.

I never understood how movies were graded. I have had movies that were rated pretty bad by critics and were actually really good. The only time a movie is bad is when it is redone multiple times. Then again, I do not think people, who liked the first Batman movies, would have wanted it to be redone with movies like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

yeah but just looking at most of the reviews of the movie on IMDB and they all loved it.
Resident evil the final chapter doesn't have those kind of reviews.

Because the fans didn't get what they want,but for me is the best movie of the entire franchise.

Turkish internet trolls don't control Metacritic's score... you need to be an established critic for your rating to count.

so why is it 38 then? This movie was created by the same person who did: In the name of the father and Hotel Rwanda.
The reason this movie has 38 on metacritic is because of political reasons.

Haven't seen it so I can't say. I like the writer's previous work and the actors but even the best talent can make a flop every once in awhile. I'll comment here later if I see it.

It's not released yet, it the movie was shown at a festival. I don't think it's the creators attempt to make a terrible movie.
