Movie Recommendations??!?!?!?! Not obvious ones.

Ok so i watch alot of movies, like alot. As im sure many others on here do as well, but i struggle to find good movies that i have yet to see but would very much like to. So i(and others im sure) need recommendations. I dont want obvious ones like The dark knight trilogy, godfather, tarantino movies, Rounders(didnt expect that one to follow the previous ones did you), ect. But they don't have to be completely out of the box either. Any help would be great, if this gets a good amount of response i will DEFINITELY check this everyday till i'm in the ground.

HA!
That's the one.

A few months ago you did a post trying to remember this show.
I must have been really bored 3 days ago.
Thanks for the memories, Thanks for the memories.

I must say that, lacking context, I would have difficulty making sense out of a lot of random movies shouted out.
We have a really good 80s thread around here, that's a good thing to look at. The OP indicated they'd seen most of the teen and horror movies, so that steered the discussion toward the straight dramas - of which there are many.
Some people don't even consider old B&W movies or Foreign films with sub-titles.
Westerns is certainly a genre all it's own.
There's just so much out there to be making random suggestions ... unless that's really what you want.

The Prophecy - Love this movie excellent cast.

Killing Zoe - Heavy movie

Add Pulp Fiction to this and Eric Stoltz was on a roll here. Changing his image from the late 80's

The Lost Battalion - Rick Schroder stars in this "true story about an American battalion of over 500 men which gets trapped behind enemy lines in the Argonne Forest in October 1918 France during the closing weeks of World War I"

I bought this, Excellent movie imho. Some of the cast was also in Saving Private Ryan.
