Probably because anything that conflicts with the narrative gets suppressed.

An armed staff member thwarted a school shooting and no one was injured, except the asshole perpetrator was shot and killed by police. The suspect, Brandon Ned was a convicted felon and also black. Guaranteeing the story would not make the major news outlets. Don't you liberals know you're being manipulated???

Armed citizen stopped a criminal from murdering children. If schools were no longer gun free zones and staff were allowed to arm themselves, this problem would go away.
