Well done America, you just gave a 78 year old the presidency

Oldest man ever to assume the office.

Trump held that record at 70.

I think pushing that record out to 78 isn't an accomplishment, but a sad reflection on the lack of talent in those running for president.

reply

But like all you Trumpers said, it's going to be President Harris, and she's a spry 56.

Also, that little run Biden did before his speech would've given Trump a heart attack.

reply

He was looking spry zipping around on his bike today .
Imagine Trump on a bike!!??

reply

The bike would be riding him :D

reply

The dems 2 choices were 2 old white men, pretty sad if you think about it if you best choice is a 78 yr old grandpa with dementia.

reply

Pretty sad if you think about a 78 yr grandpa with dementia who can jog faster and handle stairs and ramps, defeating Trump who can't do any of those things.

reply

Whoa! Not so fast there, turbo...

Nobody has conceded and there is no transition happening yet.

reply

Yes. Trump has more money to siphon from his cult which all goes away if he concedes.

reply

lol you think he needs anyone else's money.

reply

Yes. Where have you been? It's literally in the fine print of his "voter fraud" defense fund. Half of it goes to his debt.

The reason he paid $750 in taxes is because he's over $400 million in the hole.

reply

I would have preferred Buttigieg or Booker or Warren or any number of Dems. This is not a reflection of the quality of the person, it's an indictment of what sort of hoops and machinations have to be jumped through to have a reliable centrist we all can trust to defeat a certified megalomaniac everyone who is against the ideals of the USA is backing, i.e., Iranians, Russians, home-grown fascists, errant christians, and the anti-science crowd.

reply

Biden is not Trump. Unfortunately, our political landscape is so bad right now that "I am not Donald Trump" is a winning endorsement. Trump was the worst president our country has ever had.

reply

There are murmurs that Trump will run again in 2024. He'd be 78 during that time. I'm assuming you'll be against that, correct?

Had he won, Trump would have been a 74-78 year-old president.

You would have been against that as well, correct? I'm only asking because I've seen many supporters of Trump mention Biden's age yet not a single one of them mentioning Trump's age, even though he's only four years younger than Biden.

reply

Both show signs of decline, but more notably Biden who forgot the name of President Obama.

I personally think Trump will be too old in 4 years, but if he's up to it, go ahead.

I'm half his age and don't have half his energy. He rarely looks tired.
