shareHorseshit. If the US cut off all trade with China their economy would collapse. China is way more dependent on the US, at least in the fundamental economic relationship. But we do need to move critical supply lines (like antibiotics) out of China ASAP.
I've argued for years that we shouldn't be trading with China at all as long as it's ruled by a communist regime. Hopefully the takeaway from this global tragedy is clarification for people that China is our biggest enemy, not our friend. The nation should act accordingly going forward.

Plenty of people in India and other countries need to eat. Improved trade deals there could pick up the slack if we stopped trading with China.
