Howard Stern Calls Sanders "Karl Marx Jr."

Stern also said Sanders can't beat Trump. Stern was less worried about the coronavirus than "Karl Marx Jr." becoming the Democratic nominee.

"“Yeah! It’s unbelievable. Listen if a Democrat wants to win against Trump, we can’t have Karl Marx Jr.,” Stern continued. “Karl Marx. Jr. ain’t going to win the general election. It’s not going to happen. What they need is a good, strong moderate to be the candidate and Karl Marx Jr. backed Casto, and Karl Marx Jr., all the sh-- he wants to get through. All the free Medicaid and all the free college. No one is going to pay for it. No one in Congress, Democrats or Republicans, are going to approve it and neither is the Senate, so we’re going to be sitting there…”

Stern went on to lambaste the candidate for his attacks on billionaires in the United States, going as far as to do an impression of Sanders.

Stern continued: “‘All of America is based on... So tell me, give me your utopian vision, Karl. How much money should anyone be allowed to make? And by the way, Bernie, when I’m president, I don’t like people who have three homes. So, I’m going to take away two of your homes because you have three of them. How do you feel about that?’ I don’t believe he’s going to win the general election so if you’re a Democrat and you don’t like Trump, I mean… I think Trump is probably doing a dance.”"

The irony is that you dislike multimillionaires but you envy their money and want it for yourself so you're hoping Sanders will help you take it.

I was specifically talking about Sanders desire to take away half the wealth of rich people. Why punish success? The Mars family is rich because people buy their candy.

Republicans repeatedly lower the rich's taxes. Why do voters support that?

reply

[deleted]

Imagine that. Billionaire Howard Stern doesn't support Bernie. Well I am just absolutely shocked.

reply

The Republican party repeatedly gives their rich benefactors tax cuts. They also backed Citizens United which is why Republicans ignore the needs of the average Joe in favor of rich donors.

The rich need to pay higher taxes which are fair and not a punitive "tax" because of envy. There is a big difference.

reply

The Democrats have repeatedly raised taxes of the rich. Trying to take away 1/2 of a rich person's wealth is punitive.

I hear Howard Stern is helping "Crooked Hillary" set up her podcast. He has also had Donald Trump on his show many times over the years as Trump bragged about what actresses he would love to "bang" and even made some strange references to Ivanka. He is a billionaire "shock jock" that made his money hiding behind an African-american woman (Robyn Quivers) so he could make racists jokes and toilet humor. So therefore, I am not surprised that he would be Anti-Sanders. There used to be a time in politics where "potty humor" and politics didn't mix, but now in the Trump universe, Howard Stern has political power over the idiots that subscribe to his channel. He sends his children to ivy league colleges and I guess he figures that Bernie Sanders will take away his opulant privlege to his offspring by lessening the debt to regular folks that want a college degree to better themselves and not go into 30K debt to get it.
He needs to go back to being "fart-man" and whining about radio execs.

You're a prude, I see!

Once again, another Sanders supporter who is envious and jealous of a rich guy but wants his money to pay for freebies like health care and college.

reply

I am certainly not jealous of Howard Stern. That guy is in therapy from being abused by his father, no money is worth that. Neither am I jealous of "Crooked Hillary" for the obvious reasons. I just believe that affordable health care is a human right. I have a right to an attorney if i murder someone, but I don't have a right to affordable health-care if I get sick or a college degree without having a 30k debt waiting for me after I graduate. The average worker gets only a 2% raise and the cost-of-living is about 4%, so every year you work you make less. I don't think Sanders' ideas are radical in any way. FDR strived for some of the same initatives back in the 1940's, I don't hear anyone calling him a radical. Again, people like you, like to use words like "freebies" and call people names for wanting simple "fairness". Billionaires (God bless 'em) get all the "freebies" they want and they don't call that "socialism". They call them "job creators" as they ship jobs oversees.

reply

I paid my private university debt. Why can't you pay yours? Instead you want me to pay yours too by taxing me to death. You're a freeloader.

Some states have free state colleges for middle income people which I support and they are an affordable policy. Sanders' plan is wasteful.

My criticism isn't about the problems. It's about Sanders unrealistically expensive and impractical solutions.

BTW, stop repeating Trump propaganda re: Hillary. It shows you're vulnerable to brainwashing.

reply

Who the hell cares what howeird stern has to say about anything? He's as bad as right wing talk radio. All he's doing is being a loud mouth and promoting his brand.

reply

Right after Howard Stern said it he probably had to go see his therapist. Just remember this is the same guy that said after 9/11 that America should nuke the entire middle east.

He needs to bring back "fartman". Then maybe him and his buddy Trump can make a series called "The Adventures of Fart-man and president Pu**y-grabber"

I know.. I like the ole "You hate millionaires" strawman argument.
Those kind always whip that one out in a debate.

Who knows maybe he/she is a millionaire, but if they aren't, I am sure they are expecting to be one in the future.

reply

[deleted]

I would assume the latter because the other way would ruin the trump conspiracy that Putin wants Bernie to win.

Unless that is a Putin bot using reverse psychology.

reply

Why are you making fun of anyone with mental health problems?

reply

Why not? Trump would! He mocked a handicapped person at his rally. Why should I be held to a higher standard than the president of the united states. Maybe I should start bragging about grabbing a woman by her private parts. Oh wait!...I can't!... I am not Donald Trump, I would be fired!...not elected to the highest office in the land.

reply

You can tell who the Bernie Bros lunatics on this board are. Just mock their leader!

reply

Good point! I bet most aren't registered to vote.

Did you cream in your pants?

reply

Why do you ask? Are you hungry?

Donald Trump "creams his pants" (as you so eloquently, put it) every time he talks about his own daughter. Maybe that is why he was such good friends with Jeffery Epstein.

Stern isn't a right-winger. He's literally Independent and has supported both Democrats and Republicans candidates in the past.

reply

[deleted]

Hmmm! I always wondered about Stern. I don't really know what camp he is in. I guess independent (if anyone really is) would be his label. I remember he ran for governor of New York in 90's as a Democrat (i think), he acts liberal because then he can get A-list hollywood stars on his show, but he has some really extreme right-wing views. I guess Howard Stern "The entertainer" and Howard Stern "The human being" are very diffferent people. I really don't put stock in anything that comes out of his mouth. He is basically a troll that talks to get attention. Would the real Howard Stern please stand up
[stand up] FARTMAN!
