I'm not saying to turn away refugees, I'm saying we really need to pick and choose those who come into the country because obviously not every person out there is looking to do good. We have enough crime as it is, why would we make it even worse by not screening the people who want to build a life here? Kevin is a totally normal child, what are you talking about? Especially for the time, if you get bullied by an older sibling the most immediate reaction is to fight back. He wasn't in the wrong in either scenario from the first or the second movie. It comes down to the fact that his entire family treat him like crap, always assume he is the one causing trouble even when Buzz humiliated him in front of the entire school and the families that went to see their own kids. I don't think it's fair to bring autism or ADHD into the conversation when there really aren't indicators of this other than Kevin being a rambunctious little boy. But good eggs don't equate a whole either, it is neccassary to decide who comes into the country and who does not. So are you saying that we should use a force of immigrants to fight the "bad" immigrants? Rather than just being picky about the immigrants we take in? Immigrants are only beneficial to the work force when it becomes convenient, it's never about how much we actually care about the people who come into the country, just that they can make us money apparently... Plenty of adults also liked Step Brothers which essentially a more edgy version of Ferrell in Elf. That's just his style of humour. You know who else is an interplanetary immigrant? General Zod, and Doomsday. You really want to let them onto Earth unhindered? Yeah that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking. Rather than it being a scavenger species, I see it more as a tick that sucks the life out of a person as well as it's intelligence and mode of survival. It's a movie for children... What the heck are you on about? We do know that it can replicate a person to act just like the real version would have, so maybe there is a form of knowledge absorption from the entities it copies. As far as I know it's a parasite that was on the ship and not the aliens that were flying it themselves. Jennifer Lawrence wouldn't be a good fit, even if this was a good idea, but it's a terrible one. If there was a thing on a tropical island and the girls were all in bikinis and sexy, I could see this working. I thought of it as less of an alien entity and more of a virus, it doesn't need a brain, it just needs to spread.
