Exactly. When I watch a movie about a gritty counter terrorism expert, I can't take it seriously unless the lead is a stunning red head with flawless complexion and the body of a gym Goddess. Makes it more believable. He was actually a cop being drugged. Watch it again. I like the goofy nature of Z Nation. This was much more serious. And very good for the most part. When she was taken over by the wraith... I didn't notice. Not sure she was miscast so much as she just played the character too smug. I suspect she was directed to do it that way. My one criticism of the film (or the characters) is that they didn't spend every waking moment preparing for the inevitable gang to arrive. Maybe some explosives, some booby traps, some methods for ensuring the trucks couldn't be moved. Even some planning for dealing with a new breach of zombies. To get them out effectively a second time, etc. There's a big difference between 18 and 30 and 30 and 42. Internet connections. Without it, she'd be profoundly obscure. The bike fall was irrelevant. The blackout took everyone on earth to an alternative reality. Except a handful for reasons unknown. Her career is built on them. She didn't need to mature. Everyone has been stunted by internet culture. Nothing has moved on. Films, music, art, fashion, you name it. Yes, I am backed up. And you're so intelligent that you took my solitary response and curiously manufactured a narrative that I apparently 'keep proving your point.' You'd be raped everyday, lad. That you'd be aggressively febrile in your accommodation is neither here nor there. So men throughout history, warriors, fighters, soldiers, explorers, were expressing toxic masculinity? LOL, I thought you meant the black guy who had his hand broken in the parking lot. Black people don't come out well from this movie. Izzard hasn't been funny for a while. Plus, he's a raging wokist. The two things might be connected. Spectacular. It's been a while since I've seen it. Bogus journey had diversity though. Death and Station. What difference does it make?
