I just finished watching the film. At one point Fiona asks him why he doesn’t go to live on the island right now (as he had said earlier he intends to move there when he’s a man) and his reply is “But Mother.” She he apparently lives with his mother, somewhere nearby.
Like I said, they wanted go help me get a boyfriend. This is very personal and I will not be answering further questions about it.

Sure. Just got done watching it, I’d never seen it before. Not great but I’ve seen worse. I watched it on Amazon Prime, it was free with no ads.
I had to google this, as I just saw this movie today and did not catch a nonbinary character. It’s one of Wade’s siblings, they are voiced by a nonbinary actor. Literally nobody points out that they are nonbinary and if anybody refers to them as they/them I completely missed it.
That said I believe that the first fire couple the mom is doing a love reading for both appeared to be men. I figured that was the extent of the representation we were going to get in this one.

The weird thing is, I just now watched Moonfall on tv, IMMEDIATELY preceded by The Lost World. So I had seen that joke so recently at first I thought they were repeating a joke from earlier in the same film until I realized it came from an entirely different one.
I’m sad we barely saw Kraglin in the film. :( I like him. I wanted to see him using the fin and arrow.
