Koenig, although mostly unaffected by alien mental powers, was overcome by the Bringers of Wonder in their attempts to destroy the Moonbase primarily when they tried to get him to crash his Eagle into the Nuclear Waste Dumps! Afterwards they realised that it wouldn't trigger the nuclear blast they wanted and then Koenig was connected up to the Ellendorff mind analyser and protected from their influence they then went on to convince the Alphans that they had been located by Earth and sent a rescue mission crewed implausibly by family and friends from the beleaguered population! I believe the scene with Tony mentioning Victor's death was filmed but it was never put into the episode! Whether it still exists is doubtful now as if it had of done it would have been included with the DVD sets or inserted on the net! JB Shut the door, Mary

Well I don't watch it anymore to be honest and haven't since Capaldi left! I hated his era totally and wasn't that keen on Smith's either although I liked him! RTD played the gay agenda one two many times for my liking too! JB Shut the door, Mary

The psycho cerebral music first heard in both Space Warp and The Beta cloud was oddly used in Devil's Planet. Elizia was sinister yes but hardly like the many alien intelligences out to destroy Alpha, all she wanted was to enslave Koenig as her lover. Glad they kept on using it though until the end! Commander Koenig, Professor Bergman and chief Eagle pilot Alan Carter were the best characters for me! In the books they always referred to him as Captain Carter which koenig only called him Breakaway on TV! JB Shut the door, Mary

Edward Brayshaw as the War Chief in The War Games is also considered by some to be the Master! His hatred towards the Doctor in Terror of The Autons would explain this plus the War Chief is a Time Lord, has a Nehru suit and a beard and knows the doctor from long ago!!!! Who else could he be? The baddie Xavier St.Cloud fought Duncan on the Seine in season one and returned in Unholy Alliance in the second season with a hook, replacing his lost hand that Duncan cut off at the end of the previous episode! Later on of course he decapitated Xavier and took his quickening in a classic battle! Shut the door, Mary! JB
