How about Fateful Findings, The Room and the Birdemic series to start with? Go down the rabbit hole of these ... special movies ... if you wish. I have to some degree and don't regret it one bit. Of all the things that would make someone unlikable or such, I'd imagine a small amount of makeup wouldn't be a big factor. How about the other way around: date a guy who wears makeup outright/knowingly? Like BB cream or etc.? I'm a guy and don't really wear any, but I am aware that some of these products smooth out your skin/make your skin "pop" more and look more doll-like. I'd imagine a lot of people (especially women/girls) who use it do so to give the impression of super smooth or "perfect" skin tone. I'm talking light stuff and not like extreme eyeliner/eyelash/blush/highlighter/contouring/etc. But I am kind of familiar with a lot of these things. I would have no problems with women solely on the basis of makeup on/off being the only determinant. I think there are much bigger things to worry about than just possible doll-like/features exaggerated to the max when it comes to actually growing to like someone more/getting to know them or etc. Some people might use makeup or such to cover pimples/scarring too, which I can understand. I don't really judge, but yeah... What's the point of these posts, assuming you are serious/aren't deliberately trolling? I always find these political attack posts to be petty -- like, "Ha! Alt-reich being exposed!" or "Snowflake libtards" or etc. What does this seek to gain? A mindless fight? Troll bait only (excuse this if so)? A serious political discussion/solution? What is the point? If you are trolling then I'm off-base/wasting my time, but if you do this seriously, it doesn't really give your "side" anymore brownie points when you have to just childishly attack the other one somehow to prove competence or superiority over nothing. This is coming from someone neither left nor right necessarily, but who follows what they think would make the most sense/right politically for people. So if you aren't just trolling and plan to instigate a topic by damning the left based on the stock market, then what is this proving really? Doesn't seem to make you sound any better when spouting/initiating near baseless hits on any "side" of your choosing. The show didn't seem interesting to me from the little I've seen, but a lot of people still seem to like it. Maybe it would work better as a miniseries or something. Yeah it is true that certain titles are getting a bigger surge of traffic due to IMDb breaking off the boards there. People will want to go elsewhere to discuss it -- now that place is here (well, one of the places). I mean traffic overall has dropped. A very small production or show which would have had limited exposure; or a celebrity or actor page would have had better traffic and discussion odds than here in its current popularity/state. This is more like the "new" place to go to for discussion, whereas before it was "that old place" but still had more activity overall. But it has been only a few years. This place could change a lot in the next few too Never been a drone fan. Don't hate them, and not out of touch or anything, but they've never really appealed to me. I wouldn't care about being on camera though -- doesn't bother me. In fact I kind of like the idea of acting so getting as comfortable and feeling as natural as possible in the presence of cameras is something I should work towards, right? But one thing more worrisome about drones: them crashing or flying in to you/your house/etc. No issues! I used to hang around IMDb with the message boards there and it was fun for the most part. I like this place so I will stick around. Wish it was like it before with all the activity and subjects, but at least it's something good so far. I think the meaning behind my post was misunderstood (and I provably could've worded it better). What I mean is that I am disappointed more with IMDb than this site. I am all for this site and trying to preserve the original boards -- just stating that these boards -- although exact copies -- mostly remain inactive and unlike when they were on IMDb. I know I'm new here, but it is true that most places that would've been active (when IMDb still had the boards many titles or etc. would have tons of activity -- even lesser known ones) are now untouched since the IMDb message board elimination basically. So I wasn't bashing this place or saying I hated it outright -- what I meant by "weak" was not anywhere near the same as when it was all part of IMDb. Now so many boards that would have active posts/activity/etc. are now dead or have much fewer posts (this does apply to most stuff). I know this place is fairly new too, but I don't see it gaining the same activity or traction IMDb had. Also, you have to consider that even if this did become similar to the activity before with the IMDb boards, there still would exist the clear disconnection between being able to seamlessly do everything in one with an IMDb account (like you can't rate here or write a review -- you'd need to always have this side as the "side piece" for discussion). I've always wondered why these types of films (like mega Disney or other similar productions) require such a massive budget. I know animation is far from easy and takes a lot of time and that will mean a lot of money on some level too, but can't see how it would need a near quarter billion dollar production budget. Does it really cost anything near that to get enough people to animate/produce/voice/edit this? Even factoring in pay for the voice actors and studios and 3-D animators and etc., I still can't picture how it could potentially cost anywhere near such a massive budget conceived for it. Don't they spend most of the time conceiving the idea (which doesn't cost much really), to then gather a massive surplus of animators/team members/designers/etc. to begin working on it as swiftly as possible? Most of the money, I'd think, is in actually making it (the film and all of its resources), not conceiving it/doing a storyboard/writing it or such. I saw the first episode and some of the second so far, and it did initially catch my interest/seem good somewhat. I kind of went off-track on episode two, but willing to keep watching. It doesn't seem that incredible to me overall, but it does have appeal from the get go that I found somewhat interesting at least. I agree with the accent though -- sometimes you have to listen loudly or you miss some lines/words. I could see this show going for at least a few seasons possibly and keeping it "fresh" for a while.
