It's my favorite. I wasn't expecting much when I went to see it, but was completely blown away with the dialogue and the music and the humor and the plot twists and turns. You know who else couldn't play defense? Alex English, Kiki Vandeweghe, and George Gervin. But you would still want them on your team. And Steve Nash won two NBA MVP awards as a point guard. Oh, Mexico It sounds so simple I just got to go The sun's so hot I forgot to go home Guess I'll have to go now Americano got the sleepy damn eye But his body's still shaking like a live wire Sleepy "SeƱorita" with the eyes on fire Oh, Mexico It sounds so sweet with the sun sinking low Moon's so bright like to light up the night Make everything all right Cool. I saw it on TV in the 70s when I was a kid. No cable or VCRs back then. It was a complete surprise. Partially because the scenery looked like the US southwest, not the Eastern seaboard. Wait, Bruce Wayne's parents die? Why don't they ever show this in the Batman movies? A great movie and will remain so. We could use another Roman Empire epic about now. People didn't need him, and he found out he didn't need people, or to obsess about doing everything on time. They wanted Damon to be the star though. Need to rescue someone from somewhere? Must be Matt Damon. Well done from start to finish. It was great, actually. Movie theaters gave up on it too soon, it was gaining word of mouth. It got a big round of applause at the theater I went to. The stunts were exceptional, and the ending sequence was fantastic -- far better than the CGI slug-fests at the end of the contemporary superhero movies that did far better. I would consider it a compliment. They all lifted each other up. But McCartney's talent was stupendous and unstoppable. Lennon would have no doubt become an important folk singer and songwriter. Harrison would have been a successful solo artist. And Ringo would have been a key component of some successful band. Harrison was a talented singer/songwriter and a first-rate guitarist. His voice didn't challenge those of Lennon or McCartney, but his songwriting did, on occasion. He wasn't "allowed" to have a song or two per LP, they were included because they were good. Proof of this assertion is his first album after the breakup of the Beatles, "All Things Must Pass" a critical and commercial success that hit No. 1, with three hit singles, and was mostly made up of songs the Beatles chose to ignore. Yes, and Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin was the best part of it. Great show. Good points, but Perry was a good character. I'm an original member of team Snow-Barry. Too bad the show didn't give it more run before Barry and Iris settled down. Supergirl (the show) started out very strong and slowly declined, as happens to most shows. But she was pretty powerful and self-supporting, clearly the main force. Unlike the Flash, who needed a pep talk from someone every single week. It was better in the early seasons. But Black Canary was always associated with Green Arrow, and was well done on this show.
