So true. Nate was a bigger douche than Christian. Andy should’ve stayed with Christian after he banged her. Oh yes. Definitely a looker mmm. Here come the Nintendo ninjas. It was a war considering nearly the entirety of both humankind and apes were staging a fight amongst each other. The title fits imo. Sure. I can do that. It was his bosses fault. James was against the 2nd version of the virus (which caused the pandemic) without testing the negative affects of it. His boss wanted to rush it. THAT is what caused the human downfall. I saw an interviews where the writers wanted to drop lots of nuggets that could potentially lead to future film plots. That’s what I thought when I saw both. Sorry you didn’t like it. Personally it’s my favorite reboot film since Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It’s slow, but lots of interesting world building. The apes are a bit hard to understand at times; that’s my only criticism. I agree. It’s hard to know which one sounds more accurate. Maybe this one should’ve been called “Before the Planet of the Apes” or something. This is why I stopped watching most movie reviewers online like John Campea etc. Their tendency to assume their audience knows about twist endings and rumored plot reveals totally ruins the experience of watching a movie for the first time. Do yourself a favor. Unsubscribe to all of that and limit your movie news to trailer reveals, or a calendar of upcoming movies. You’ll enjoy old and new movies so much more this way. I’ve hardly gotten spoiled since then. I guess it requires knowledge of that. I guess it came off as an inside reference. Thanks for the assistance. I’m surprised the real Jean didn’t make a bigger deal out of it. Maybe she just fainted ;) Hmm seems like an amenic excuse but ok. I think it’s faithfulness to the source material was rather close, as well as seeing comic book material being bought to life visually for the first time (for the X-men). There hadn’t been anything like it. It may not hold up to some, but it’s still a fairly solid Saturday morning cartoon throwback. In the end it’s still a kids show with adult themes. Some camp is expected. It’s an original idea. At least it’s not something rehashed. It was a fun movie, if not all that scary. We will just have to disagree on that one, I felt Tale Spin was better back as a kid. For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t watch either nowadays. That’s cool that you have appreciation for older films. But a lot of people don’t. There are probably a lot of people that got exposed to the series first. And then there are people who appreciate both. Would you watch a movie that’s 25 years old? A lot of people, many younger viewers, wouldn’t. Kind of like why a lot of older movies are being remade. People watch what’s new on Netflix. Not everyone searches for a movie that’s decades old.
