The more reviews a movie receives on Rotten Tomatoes, the more likely it would receive negative reviews. Look at Sharknado, it has an 82% consensus on Rotten Tomatoes but it's because only 17 critics reviewed that movie. If 200 critics review Sharknado, the consensus would obviously be a lot lower than 82%.

David warns Shaw about the incoming Engineer because David doesn't want to die? Die by what? The Engineer? The Engineer walked away and wasn't aware David was still alive after the Engineer tore David's head off. Why would the Engineer search for David's head on a massive ship after killing Shaw?

After Peter dies, David is free.
David even warns Shaw when the Engineer was heading towards her way to kill her.
Shaw leaves LV223 all thanks to David because David told her he knew how to operate an Engineer's ship.
Shaw reattaches David's head to his body to return a favor.
Peter is dead so there are no more orders for David to follow.
