I didn't see anything untoward when I Googled Charles Lamont - what is the story? I saw it yesterday, and enjoyed it enough. I was just in the mood to see a silly summer movie and this hit the mark. That casting would have helped a lot. Agreed. Not enough Sophia Coppola and John Larroquette and too much Matt Barr & Katia Winter. Thanks! I only watched half of the first season, which I really enjoyed but could not finish the season because I got really busy. I now have the second half of the first season and the second season sitting on my DVR with quite a few other movies and series. I know it's cancelled, and while I don't want to know how it ended, did it end with a cliffhanger? I am trying to make space on my DVR and I don't want to invest time in watching a series only to be frustrated in the end, because I find cliffhangers so very annoying. So far the promos have been good. Hopefully it's not like going to a movie after seeing the previews and realize that the preview had all the best bits. Hope that you have fun! Several of us went to see it, and by expecting a silly, lightweight comedy, we were not disappointed. It was silly, it was lightweight, and we laughed frequently. Expectations met. Not necessarily. She makes a comment in the movie about him supposedly being dead. There's talk of this being a trilogy, so I could see him making a cameo in the third one. When her skeevy ex was being interviewed by the police at the end, they asked him about large sums deposited into his business account. She was trying to get his account information during that call so she could frame him. It's based on a true story: https://www.bustle.com/p/instant-family-is-based-on-a-true-story-real-kids-but-with-one-major-change-13132344 Yes! There was an actress named Elsa Buchanan who was in "Charlie Chan in London". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elsa_Buchanan Keep up the good work! No, he didn't because I chuckled. FYI, Strntz is just being funny. This is a Halloween tradition for me along with "The Seventh Victim," "Dracula" (Bela Lugosi), and "Dracula's Daughter." "Christmas in Connecticut" is my favorite Christmas film that I refuse to miss. I understood the French and figured out the Edward G. Robinson reference, but didn't get the rest. Thank you very much! Or I should say, "Danke!" I wondered that - I just assumed that she didn't care as long as the Americans had him. I think that Drax focused on perfection as to physical beauty and intellect, but since he was a total sociopath, he would not value emotional health and therefore, he did not screen for emotional health in the ones that he selected for survival. In order to participate, they would have had to agree that the rest of the human race was worthless, and that they represent the best of the species and so should survive, therefore, Bond was interfering with said survival.
