👍 Relax man... just teasing 😉 He's one of the worst at play acting (i.e. he's good at it and does it a lot)... A lot more sly about it than Naymar... I think Suarez got a few past the ref during the first half against Portugal, but the ref was on to him in the 2nd and didn't given him any fake fouls/freekicks... The refereeing during the first two matches of the round of 16 has been pretty good compared to the group stage... You're welcome! Yes, it's on my 'to watch' list... I'll get to it after the World Cup... You're always well dressed 👍 He is a real human being, not some TV character. I know that you're just having a bit of fun, but while this site has low traffic and is pretty much unknown, it isn't responsible to say such things about real people... Especially as they face real consequences simply due to allegations... I can see penalties between Uruguay and Portugal... Interesting... I have... France 3 - Argentina 2 (drama among the Argentine ranks as coach clashes with players, France coach also exposed as having weak plan) Portugal 1 - Uruguay 0 (perhaps scoring in overtime) Spain 3 - Russia 1 Croatia 2 - Denmark 0 Brazil 1 - Mexico 2 Belgium 2 - Japan 1 Sweden 1 - Switzerland 1 (Switzerland win during penalties) Columbia 2 - England 0 (England down to 10 men in 2nd half due to controversial red card) Was a decent game to watch... Teams playing their substitute/alternate players mostly... Lots of attacks... Solid goal and probably the funniest post goal celebration by Batshuayi as he kicks the ball into the goal, only to have it hit the post and slam in right in the face 😂 Almost overshadows Januzaj's goal, excellent touch, movement and strike... Belgium have shown that they have a deep squad when it comes to attacking at least... If they played Brandt earlier (started?) and had Sane on the squad and played him at least 50% of the time they'd have the pace and power tk do real damage again... Their style of football meams that being a step too slow, or hesitant/less accurate in stirking is the difference between a tie/loss and a stagering win.... England and Belgium have copeid this style p, but with young and aggressive players.., we'll see how they perform... Liar Liar is a decent movie... Underrated? I agree... It hasn't aged well at all... It's a disney movie... In fact, it's failings have become well known and established as all of the generic action movies dominated movie... the movies that followed it and that relied on exactly what was wrong about Aliens, exactly the way it departs from Alien and exactly why it is more of a GI-Joe action/disney/fake-emotion/feel-good-we-are-fake-ad-hoc-family that James Cameron commercialised as a template (e.g. Terminator 2, Avatar, etc...) for every generic action movie to use... The horror was striped from the movie... the alien creature was reduced to a spacebug, ripley made into a mother figure so audiences can find her 'relatable' and she was provided with a GI Joe husband to complete the Disney picture for a happy ending... The only missed her winning the lottery 😂 ... Thankfully Alien 3 restored horror and desperation to the series with it's deep nihilism and it's ambivilance about civilisation... After a few mishap sequels the series was put right on track with the ambitious, iconic and iconoclast Prometheus.... A critical and commercial success that was met with fanboy revulsion culminating the parting message from Ridley Scott in the form of Covenant... Exactly the JJ Abrams style remix that the fans asked for begining with a dustruction of a civilisation, mirroring the trashing of Alien by the generic Aliens and it's black goo spawn of fanboism and by the numbers filmmaking... Poetic and a fitting end to the Alien series, with questions left never to be answered, an uncertain, cold and bleak future for the crew and David's experiments... In it's own way, the ending of Alien restored, at least in mood... Mexico vs. Brazil is always fun... Would love to see Mexico go through although they are not my favourites for the cup... One would need ego for trivialisation to work, that is to say that to feel trivialised assumes an expectation of having self worth and worth in relatio al terms, for example hacing your opinions matfer, or your feelings recognised... Without recognising self worth in these terms then there is no point of trivialising as there would be no rage against being trivialised... But to recognise self worth assumes a sense of having a self, do animals have thsi sense? Is it an extention of self preservation and the will to survive? You should add a point for the French girl... 😉 So? I didn't say it was only for children and their parents, but it is clearly targeting the family market... There are adult colouring books and such as well... In contemporary culture it is acceptable for adults to watch cartoons meant for family and general entertainment... To hold on to childish things... It's fine and I'm sure it is a secondary market... A lot of my friends, single and in their late 20s/early30s watched the Minions series in cinema... I don't judge... Many small children would find dinosaurs and such too intense... Same for what was marketed as a space action movie... Families with kids would choose Incredibles by a wide margin... If there is no more StarWars, what will the fans have to to look forward to complain about? 😉 Not at all.. In fact, the opposite as it tends to be too intense to listen to while doing other things... I always feel the need to sit and listen, to immerse myself in the music rather than do anything else... Listen to Vivaldi's Four Seasons for example, Summer or Winter... But make sure you listen to a decent recording and listen loud... As loud as you would rock music... It should be pretty exciting... Wagner's ride of the valkyries is anything but boring...
