First, entirely possible for Russia to acquire Tomcats from some third world country, and the filmmakers needed them to get Maverick and Rooster out of Russia (and for nostalgia's sake). Not everything has to be true to life. Perhaps Russia wanted to create *new* enrichment facilities in defiance of the SALT treaties.
What is an absolute certainty is Iran doesn't have an Su-57s. Also have to keep in mind it is much more politically correct to paint Russia as the villain in a film than just about any other country.

He adopted Christianity recently, but he doesn't ask anyone to follow him. He offers his opinion on topics and people can choose whether they take those opinions to heart. Millions have.
And it is a genre that has been completely overdone. They have apparently run out of great stories anchored in truth (e.g. "Glory") and have resorted to fictionalization of real events. Looks like this one is actually going to lose money, so perhaps it will cool the genre down a bit.

I agree. While the series was going on, I was pretty critical of the last four seasons. Now that GoT has been off the air for years and I have been suffering through what passes as television entertainment nowadays, I rewatched GoT and I am much more sympathetic towards the last four seasons. How I rank the seasons now, including House of Dragons

Oh, and I have decided I really can't blame D&D for a not writing a satisfactory ending to the story as not even GRRM can do it.
