I totally did. I grew up as a teenaage with Nu-Metal etc., so it was my thing back then. I've grown up since then and (like the kids of today will notice about DubStep in a few year), Nu-Metal kind of sucked. It definitely reeks of early 2000's. It's a really easy way to date your film. Exactly what I thought to myself! Producer #1: "How do we make SURE to age the film so the audience of the future will know this is from the early 2000's?" Producer #2: "NU-METAL!!!!" Use the "Edit" button. Yeah, it's so much fun! And now it's available on beautiful Blu-Ray by 88 Films Asia Collection. Yeah, it's definitely one of the best episodes of Masters of Horror. It's still my favourite Tarrantino film and I like them all in one way or another. I have never for a second found this film borin. I love the story, the characters, the soundtrack, the dialogue, all of which, prevent it from being boring. This is absurd. People are no longer allowed to decide for themselves what to watch. If one person is somehow offended by a film or TV programme, then no-one should be allowed to watch it. It's completely unfair to the people who: 1) see no problem with the movie (the majority of movie watchers) and 2) the people who want to see, but have not yet seen the film. Well, it's a T.V. movie, so you'd expect violence and sex to be toned down. I actally found this really entertaining. It focused much more on getting to know the characters and separates it from most generic slasher films. It's definitely a bad film, but nowhere nearly as bad as people say It is. Batman Forever is waaaay worse. At least this is kind of entertaining. BF is just boring, something B&R never is. I will say that Uma Thurman, whilst hot as hell in this film, is abysmal in it and I genuinely like her as an actress.
–] huwdj (1072) 13 days ago I suspect there are two reasons. First, she is guilty of being female and having an opinion. Second, she represent an opinion that many, especially those climate change deniers and most especially those idiots who believe the whole thing as an anti-american conspiracy, resent. So they attack her, often in a stupid, unpleasant and abusive way. Hard to understand why they think this approach will influence anyone else's opinion - I can only assume they get pleasure from it.
Yeah, because the left never attack anyone (!) I agree 100% with this. I appreciate the hell out of this film and its creators for what it achieved and I do love a bit of cheesiness. It is a terrible film, maybe a 3/10, but it is pretty entertaining. Maybe a 6/10 for entertainment value. Tits everywhere. Sex scenes with nudity. Violence, blood and gore. Yeah, prefect PG-13. An R-rating probably would have come across as "misogynistic" to the director. I get that. It just annoys me at how good the rest of the film is. It's the very definition of a "cop out". What annoys me the most, is how good the film is up until that twist. They obviously didn't know how to end the film, so this is what they came up with. I've seen this film three times and trust me, it's still one of the most stupid twist-endings I've ever seen in a film. Multiple viewings certainly do not help. He 100% gets it.
