Ha, harsh but true. Same as I always wanted to see all the dickheads on 'Survivor' arrive at an island and be told "this is for real, last one alive wins you self absorbed shitheads".

I didn't know he was in it and I didn't know it was him until the standoff scene (which was too long) so it was a pleasant surprise.
All those scenarios were silly.
The ship crashed into the beach because of navigation issues? Were the crew asleep the whole time and couldn't stop it?
George going onto the beach and seeing the watch in the sand? What, the body was perfectly buried and he didn't first notice the other hundreds of bodies and all the debris of an entire crashed plane clearly shown around him in the expanded shot?
These were just some of the stupid things that made this movie stupid.
I did enjoy it overall tho, despite the stupid things and it being too long.
Wow that's a big departure. I wonder what the reasoning was for that in the movie.
I mean in the general populace tho.
There must have been so many people thinking that a female president would have been some kind of miracle panacea that would change the world and set things to right just 'cause. Not to mention making themselves feel really special because they helped make it happen.
They must have been devastated for that widely predicted result not to materialize. Did that set them to savaging ANY person who they perceived as preventing that happening?
I enjoyed it, but just too long. Some scenes dragged out too much.
Was it a father and daughter in the book, or a couple?
The fact they didn't even TRY to work out where it goes is too annoying. Even if you don't knock the door down, you can see which direction it goes and how long it is. Start there at least.
