OK, thanks to a helpful person over on the Reddit TOMT board I now know what movie I was thinking of. It's "Scream for Help". Link to the IMDb page for it. Hope it's yours. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088066/reference See the review by Zeegrade that gives a good synopsis of the movie. I think it's the one you're thinking of. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088066/reviews?ref_=tttr_ql_op_3 ETA: Found the whole movie is up on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hoKtUXU9Jw No, it wasn't Robby Benson. I checked his credits, just to be sure. The guy I remember had more mediterranean features. Thanks for the suggestion. No, not that one. This was definitely a lower budget TV production. Thanks for trying. Glad to help. :-) I think this may be "Arnold". I haven't seen it since it aired in the theaters, so I'm far from certain, but the plot summay below mentions audio tapes. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069732/plotsummary?ref_=tttr_ql_stry_2 Maybe Petrocelli with Barry Newman? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071032/reference First Vinyl Single: Hello, I Love You by The Doors First Vinyl Album: God Bless Tiny Tim. I got it on sale at Kmart for 44 cents plus tax. First Cassette: Disraeli Gears by Cream I've got 8-tracks and CDs, but I don't remember which were the first. Thanks. Yeah, I remembered it from being skewered on MST3K. I think I remember this one as well, but, of course, I don't remember the title. I'll add what I do remember. It was a Canadian production. The older girl was a best friend, not a sister. She was a Canadian actress, I think. The killer was an older man who was trying to marry the girl's widowed or divorced mom. He was plotting to kill the mother, but I don't know why. Maybe for insurance money. The younger girl wasn't old enough to drive and rode a bicycle often. I thought this was the film "The Stepfather" from 1987, but the plot doesn't match up. If I remember anything else, I'll add it. I think this might be "The Magic Sword" with Gary Lockwood and Basil Rathbone. It's up on Youtube. Link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeAvwI1XwcM https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056211/reference Or Will Smith's daughter looking like him in a wig. If I was still capable of it, sure. Bringing this thread back up. I was a regular there under 2 names, Bargle and Bargle77 for 17 years. After the shutdown, the core people went to different sites or dropped off movies in general. I really miss being able to help people remember things. I've been spending time at another board, but its' INTK section is pretty slow. I don't think I've ever helped anyone there. Well, I'm here. We'll see how it goes. Saw a post mentioning it on IMDb and came over to check it out. Very nice. As long as they are fair and treat people equally, I'd be fine with having them. Avoiding having ones with personal vendettas and such is the thing. Great idea. Thanks for starting this. I think the non-entertainment related boards should not be brought back. They only seem to draw arguments and create general negativity. Things like Film General, Music and Books would be great. Definitely needed and I strongly encourage no time limit for them. I belong to a few sites where there is a time limit and it's very aggravating.
