Old adventure film, I basically only know the ending.

Thanks, but definitely not either. The movie I am looking for is a bit older than either, more of a Jason and the Argonauts or Sinbad feel [though not necessarily stop motion monsters].

It's a whole team of fellow friends at the end.

I wish I could at least remember how some died, or how they were magically brought back to life. I feel like the hero returned from his quest, alone, and... as a reward, was somehow granted the life of his friends. And they all came into the room and celebrated.

I feel like the movie's enemies were mythological in nature, but i could be wrong. My mind wants the answer to be Sinbad, but I've watched all 3 Harryhausen's and it is none.

If I had to guess when I saw it, it was a rerun of an older movie that I watched on Saturday afternoon TV sometime during the 80s. It had that feel of older adventure movies. The hero had at least... 5 companions, like a Sinbad, that died and then all came back to life at the end. I don't remember if people died to monsters or something else.

I think it was English. I didn't think it was particularly obscure, except simply due to age. I honestly thought it was famous, like a Harryhausen movie, til I discovered it wasn't any of his films.

I could be wrong about the year... maybe 40s or 50s. I think older than newer.
