Lol something just seemed off about that guy. I was thinking mental illness, but guess I wasn't too far off.
Same thing that banks use. Means all traffic is encrypted. So like if you're on public wifi and type in your password, no one else on the network could steal it. Kind of overkill for a movie discussion site (even IMDB didn't have https haha), but I'm not complaining.
Well once that captain guy woke up, you would have access.
Otherwise, it'd probably be easier to break into the crew's quarters vs. the bridge (which is what he tried for a year to do)
No - you're actually saving an entire civilization. Think about it, the ship was having serious issues and was going to explode and kill everyone onboard. If you woke up everyone (including crew/engineers), they could have likely easily fixed the problem then put everyone back to sleep.

I was looking for a new show with "geniuses" to watch. Found this show the other day and watched the first episode, but I just couldn't get over the silly dynamic between the cop and walter/crew. I don't know, it just seems very forced and cheesy. Does this aspect of the show get better?
Yeah honestly it'd be pretty nice to have the whole ship to yourself (I'm not even sure I would've woke up the girl tbh). But I guess after a few years you'd just get bored, eh?
After thinking about it some more, I'd consider waking up all of the pilots/crew and have them work together on a viable solution.
Is it anything like Suits? Trying to find something to watch in between new episodes.
I like the lawyer dynamic between Mike & Harvey, but not so much the cheesy romance between Mike and Rachel...

I still have my account for things like lists. Despite all the hate, IMDB is still the best source of data when it comes to movies (at least until they delete the trivia, goofs, and other sections...).

Sunama, the FTP links you posted don't appear to have the message boards, just metadata about movies, actors, etc. Can you confirm?
Please be patient, everyone. The site was just created a few days ago and the founder is working 24/7 to address all of these things. As AtomicReturns said, all the basics are in place, and new features are being added all the time.
As far as I know, this is the only site which has archived a large majority of movie and actor boards, so I'll be sticking around.
