Can someone please explain to me what happened from the moment that stupid fucking mother entered the loft to the end credits, because it was so fucking dark I couldn't see one single thing that was going on!
How the fuck I've lasted to Episode 6 I'll never know. I need my fucking head examining.

That loft sequence made no sense. First of all, the Doctor mom knew how to be quiet to stay safe. Then she was saved when the homeowner husband reached down to pull her up to the loft. Then all of a sudden, doctor mom forgot to be quiet as she and her children and unfaithful husband made happy noises. The homeowners, like the audience, was so annoyed, we all collectively said STFU to the doctor mom and kids. Then the homeowner wife goes crazy and wants to kick the family out. However, the homeowner husband says that's too risky and they'll make too much noise and doesn't let them go. The doctor mom's insistent on leaving here is puzzling. She barely made it to the loft in one piece. Where is this confidence coming from that she and her husband and two kids can leave the house safely? The in-fighting between the homeowners and the family, the struggling, pulling, tugging, making noises... was all idiotic, not believable, and contrived to create the action sequences that were to come.

Thanks for that Whatwazdat, now it makes some sort of sense. That Doctor Mum is driving me nuts, she has no common sense at all, and she seems to be constantly walking about in a fucking daze all the time, when she should be totally concentrated on what's going on around her, because she does actually know what's going on.

Not that I disagree with you, but how would you be if your life was totally wrecked, most people would knew were dead, you were not getting sleep or good food, and you had to somehow deal with her idiot husband and take care of two kids during all of this? I think it's reasonable to supposed that anyone in that situation would be behaving as in a daze.
I watched a few episodes of this and decided to shut it down. Then due to not finding anything else to watch I came back to it ( I thought the first episode was really terrible and silly ) but then I sort of got into it and I kind of like it now --- not that I am uncritical. But I have been enjoying it ... though it will never be a favorite. I'd rate it about 5/10.
What quite irked me was that the Dad was able to move all that furniture stacked against the door … in complete silence???
He pushed a Welsh Dresser type piece along a wooden floor with the alien standing in the next room, and it never made a sound.
