What canon event did [spoiler] break?

What canon event did Miguel O'hara break?

reply

It's got it's own story from the comics so i imagine nothing would be canon

reply

What happened in the comics?

reply

It was explained in the movie. His family was killed and he went to another dimension where they weren't dead. But then an event happened that still killed them in that dimension.

reply

So the canon event was his family being killed? But like you said, they were still killed anyways. So how did he break the canon?

reply

By going to another universe where he wasn't supposed to be.

reply

That doesn't add up. You don't break canon by simply going to another universe. You break it by interfering with a canon "event".
And according to Miguel, that canon event is supposed to be something that happens to all Spider-people.

reply

That universe Spide-Man Miguel died because of him and he took over his role. So that worlds Spider-Man was missing his canon event, sounds pretty huge to me.

reply

He saved Captain Singh. All Spider-Men are supposed to have a personal tragedy.

reply

That was Miles who saved Captain Singh. I'm walking about Miguel.

reply

oops, misread your post. As for Miguel did they say? If not, I assume we will find out in the next movie. But it is probably going to be doing something that led to Miles being bit by the spider.
