The Villain Is... [SPOILER]

Sub-Mariner!

I've heard nothing about this film to this point, but at last I know something, and it's pretty exciting news. It's about time Namor showed up in the MCU.

reply

what makes you think he will be the villain?

reply

How he not gonna be? I'm sure he'll come around, but he's got to start out all mean.

reply

he might be against the good guys in the beginning even join forces with the villains but i doubt he will be the main evil villain.

reply

Supposedly Attuma is in the movie.

reply

Martin Freeman

reply

He a good guy.

reply

Uhh...shouldn't the Submariner be a villain to Aquaman instead?

reply

Aquaman is DC's version of Sub-Mariner.

reply

They are from different companies. Sub-Mariner is much older than Aquaman. Both are kings of Atlantis. They have similar abilities. Sub-Mariner can fly, unlike Aquaman. Aquaman can control sea animals via innate telepathy; Sub-Marinor has a lot of control of sea animals as well, but more through various devices (IIRC). Traditionally, at least. Namor (Sub-Mariner) is much stronger than Aquaman, being in the Thor/Hulk league. Aquaman is much stronger than normal humans, though film versions of Aquaman recently have him much stronger than comic versions.

Yes I know but would be so so nice to see a crossover of Aquaman vs. Submariner instead of the Panther.

reply

I don't disagree that might be interesting. Cross-company team-ups have occurred here and there. Superman and Spiderman; Avengers and Justice League both come to mind. It isn't common because of the many issues of two companies sharing IP.
