Focused more on a diverse cast instead of a compelling story. Kate Bosworth looks hideous. Jesus, she's aged terribly. Netflix has really invested in some shit material. These Lifetime/Hallmark quality movies are bad enough.
shareI thought Kate Bosworth looked really good, I haven't seen her in anything in years. But yeah it's a pretty bad show, I did watch the whole thing just to see how it ends. There's only 7 episodes and all are about 40 minutes long but they could have told the story in a much shorter time because it really drags. I wouldn't bother with this.
shareI'm glad I read this. I tried watching it. I got half way through the first episode and couldn't take it anymore. Then I thought maybe I'll go back and give it another chance. But not now.

She didn't look remotely hideous, though. Still very beautiful, but very different. Possibly it was just her character's hostility that made her unrecognizable.

Perfect description for the kind of rubbish Netflix is usually putting out, both the series and Hallmark quality movies that seems to be targeting entirely teenage girls.
