You'll be waiting for a long time then. Considering most of the crappy horror films that pollute the multi-plexes these days, Midsommar deserves all the discussion and interpretation it's been getting because the film has substance. In other words, there's meat on the bone here, and it's not just a story about a killer nun, or a killer doll, or a killer _______ (fill in the blank). I'm not saying the film is the Citizen Kane of the horror genre or anything as grandiose as that because I had some criticisms of the film, but I'm grateful that at least it made me think about it afterwards.
