SO-SO START TO THE SECOND SEASON
I saw the first episode of the second season and it seems to be falling back into the "vision of the week" plot format. I am not impressed.
shareI turned it off half way through and i'm done with this show. I can't endure another season of these people running around in circles ranting about callings and demanding to know who people are. And that woman's endless crazy face expression. What's it mean? Why does it all mean? I don't know. I don't care. Definitely looks like they hit a big reset button and I have no faith that the writers/producers have any direction in mind for this show.

Anyone know what the ratings for second season premiere were yet?
According to Wikipedia, the first episode of Manifest was watched by 10.40 million viewers. Regretfully, as time passed the number of viewers declined. The last episode of the first season was watched by 5.76 million viewers, a noticeably smaller number than 10.40. The first episode of the second season saw the number of viewers drop to 4.73 million viewers, the second episode was down to 3.49. I do not think Manifest is going to survive its second season. It wouldn't surprise me if the show is cancelled mid-season. Oh well, at least there were no polar bears and smoke monsters!!!
