I never got why saying "Rihanna is very attractive" was a stereotypical white guy thing to say. I mean, he did say it but I don't get it.

Can someone explain?

Because she is one of the 2 black females the music industry agreed to allow to succeed. The other one is beyonce but she is a mother of 3 so you shouldn't comment on her appearance.

It's because she is light skinned and it plays to the stereotype about light skinned being better looking.

If you asked who is the best looking black actress, the stereotype would call for them saying Hailee Berry.
Even though Lupita Nyong'o is smoking hotter.

Rihanna isn't light-skinned at all, but whatever. She's a damn talented singer-songwriter, though, and a shrewd businesswoman.
