Did Gareth Evans ditch it after episode 5?

For me, the show went downhill after episode 5. There was absolutely zero action after that. What the first episode promised was never delivered. Gareth has directed only two episodes, 1 and 5. I don't know why most of the reviewers are saying it has non stop action.

I liked it but it became pretty boring after 5 episodes. There are a total 3 hand to hand combat sequences ( 2 in first-episode itself) and 2 shootouts and that's it. There is no action apart from that or even a linear story. Evans is just used as a clickbait it seems. This is so not him.
