What's the deal with Dye America?

Are Otto and his neighbours home owners or renters? Why would some real estate company have a say in who can live there and who should be moved out for health reasons?

I think they were using illegal tactics to slowly strong arm all the owners out of their houses so they could demolish the property and put up more high rise condos. Or the wanted all the owners out so they could buy them and make them all permanent rentals. I wasn't super clear on it either. I just know that cooperations buying up all real estate so that people can't own their own homes anymore is becoming a real problem.

Any chance you know what percentage of American single-family homes are owned by corporations?
(I’ll go ahead and assume you do since you seem pretty sure of yourself.)

It was basically white evil "Die America" mid level corporations that are to blame for everything. By mid level i dont mean the Mega Complexes that run America like the media, banking, pharma, energy & land grabbing complexes that own the White House and our debt.
