I hope they start this film from the police station interrogation of Mellon's boyfriend with flashbacks to the murder..
That scene was way cool in the book and the TV series didn't use it :(
it was a great scene in the book. would be great in the film. the book is so huge though its impossible to add all those historic facts that king put in, so much great material, it would have to be like a 10 hour miniseries to even scratch the surface of the info in the book.
shareI think the TV series didn't use it as they didn't want any depictions of homosexuality whatsoever. But they were quite willing to have racism against blacks in the TV series, complete with the N word. Go figure.
That scene is in the new film, in the trailer you see Adrian calling for help and Pennywise appears at the riverbank, plus those thousands of balloons that Haggerty sees coming under the bridge is in the trailer too.
I’m guessing they’ll use it as the opening scene to show Pennywise is back.
