Dumpster fire...

Waiting to happen πŸ‘

reply

Maybe. Maybe not. Nah πŸ‘Ž

Bring on those happy sick jokes, Joaquin!

reply

Oh i get it...joaquin...LOL!

reply

Then clean your house yo

reply

Ya mom's already did Ralph...before I sent her AsS to go get me breakfastπŸ‘

reply

I had my reservations but this actually looks good. They are basically making a crime drama about some crazy dude who put son clown makeup and it just so happens to be titled The Joker. It looks to only having a mild resemblance to the comics which might be for the best.

reply

If not for Joaquin it might be ok.

reply

No love for Joaquin? Why's that?

reply

Never got into his acting style. It's nothing personal...I just have yet to enjoy his work.

reply

I'm opposite. I think Joaquin typically saves movies with his performance I would otherwise find unwatchable.

reply

That's how I feel too. He is often the only thing going for a movie. I would have walked out of The Master were it not for him (in retrospect, I wish I had though).
I hope this movie will be good but I share the misgivings expressed elsewhere on these boards. You shouldn't make Joker a sympathetic character nor anti-hero. Joaquin might be the flotation device again.

reply

He was great in The Master.

reply

That's cool...I felt the same way about his brother πŸ‘

reply

Well except that it looks like they are going to have him meet Bruce Wayne and kill Bruce's parents... but other than that yeah it looks like the are ignoring the types to Batman comics - NOT.

reply

We don't know he will kill Bruce's parents and even if he does, that does not reflect the comics. It would reflect the Tim Burton movie, however.

As is, there's really not much from the comics here outside of the setting and a clown named Joker.
