Personally I am happy to see Tom Mison working again - I got tired of Sleepy Hollow and stopped watching it long before it was canceled.

IOW, I'm not surprised that you liked a show without knowing the actors. I might feel the same.
But I said I KNOW who's in it. And I KNOW I DONT like them.
So the "who" in "Who cares about that" is me. Your example about unknown actors doesnt apply to what I said.
"Didnt even know" isnt necessarily a negative, might even be a positive.
"not a big fan" is a clear negative.

You're on movie/tv board pretending that actors are interchangeable as long as you like the premise. That's bizarre.
Well, actors are supposed to have this ability to transform, so they might surprise you yet.
yeah, and some do that a lot better than others. Acting like most people have no preference or regard to actors in film and tv is silly. Too many movies/tv shows to mention have been sold on the actor(s) alone.
Hell, maybe Don Knotts could've played Vito Corleone! But I love mafia movies so I'd look right past any shortcomings anyway, right? Absurd.
If you hate James Franco can you watch and enjoy The Deuce, where he plays twin brothers, and is on the screen half the time? If you swapped in an actor you love, or have never seen before, that would make no difference? B/c the premise is all that mattered anyway?
I said it looked interesting but I saw 3 actors in the trailer that I've never liked. That shouldn't inspire the same response as seeing 3 actors I like or 3 actors I dont know at all. It's as simple as the difference between a negative, a positive and a neutral. How that can be debated is beyond and me and most. So it's not "who cares?" but more like, "who doesnt?"
