How can Dan be on the new show when they revealed that he died in the last episode of the original series?

They also won the lottery in the last season and none of that will be in the new season. I think Rosanne and the fans want to forget the final season.

Except Dan actually died in the season before the last one. Remember when he collapsed at Darlene and David's wedding? Supposedly he died then from what Roseanne says on the final episode.

That is what Rosanne said when she was finishing up her book, but she also said that Jackie was a lesbian too. None of that was real it seems.
