My favorite actress Carla Gugino could not help this slow running show. Watched the first two episodes and will not waste my time watching any more.

Carla is the best part of this show for sure. Emmy worthy performance. Early on, we are promised an incident so horrifying that the father picks up his kids and flees, leaving his wife to Hill House. A promise it never fulfills. The ending is so odd and leaves such a bad taste I lost any interest in a new season.

Hell, I’ve lost interest in anything by Flanagan. The guy’s not a storyteller, he’s a stringalong shyster and a fluff merchant.

The first few episodes aren't the best. But it gets really good after that and there's only 10 episodes.

I agree. It took a few episodes to pick up steam, but it became very good (although the ending was a bit of an anti-climax).
