How the fuck can anyone argue with THE CREATOR OF THE FRANCHISE AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE ONLY 2 GREAT MOVIES IN THE SERIES?

Miller should've been like 'yes sir no sir three bags full sir!' It boggles the mind to think otherwise.. like 'nah that's not right James Cameron.. the terminator wouldnt do that..'.....' no that scene is good. you are wrong James Cameron' ....'i need you to leave the editing suite James Cameron. I know better than you. please leave'...

a documentary on the creative battle between miller and cameron would probably be more entertaining than the movie itself!

I hope that exists.

When Tim Miller didn't even like the thumbs up at the end of T2, and blames it on the age of people, I knew something was amiss with him.

“I can only say that that was not my favorite part of the movie. And the fact that it is yours is a symptom of your age you saw it. Because when I saw T2, I was 27 right? But one of the first things I asked Linda is, ‘How do you feel about the thumbs up moment?’ And she’s like, ‘No.’ And I went, ‘Okay, we’re going to be fine.’ … Well, Jim loves that scene. Many people love that scene. For me, it’s just, it’s a little, it’s iconic, I know, but maybe a little too sentimental for me.” -- Tim Miller told ReelBlend Podcast

Linda gets a pass. She isn't directing and who knows if she's joking half the time or just agreeing to agree with Tim.

some more insight on the battle from tim miller:

"The biggest discussion with Jim was at some point there has to be a first time that someone comes from the future. Is Dani (the person the Terminator is on the hunt for, played by Natalia Reyes) a natural in this movie? Is everything that's happening to her happening for the first time? And that was really the decision to be made, which Jim held onto for a while but I immediately knew we couldn't do it. Jim really wanted to try to do that and eventually he came around. It wouldn't have worked when you add in certain plot points in the movie that Grace (a soldier from the future ordered to protect Dani, played by Mackenzie Davis) knows. Future Dani wouldn't know all that stuff if this was the first time."

Tim was probably like: hey you how the t 1000 spends 2 hours chasing john Conner in trucks and helicopters and bikes? How about another terminator just walks up to him in a Mexican beach bar and shoots him in 2 seconds??? Lol
