Latino is like a mutt race, a mixture of Spanish, indigenous and even african.
Even Italians become 'latino' when they move to Argentina.
It's an loose term.
Thats wrong on all accounts. Latino is simply people from, or descended from Latin American countries. It's a culture, but the people themselves are still white, black, asian mixed race etc.
Italians that move to Argentina are Italian. Their kids would be considered White Latinos though.
Hispanic refers to Spanish speakers overall, Latino refers specifically to people of Latin American descent.
shareFor clarity, the reason that there are two terms is because they are not interchangeable. Although they are in most cases. Brazilians for example are considered Latino, because they share the culture of the region, but they are not Hispanic because their main language is Portuguese, not Spanish. And Spain is considered Hispanic, because they speak Spanish, but not Latino, because they are located in Europe, not Latin America.

And yet that doesn't change the fact that this actress isn't white, she's brown. This is what happens when people keep spamming the "race/skin color doesn't matter" card, which was always a bullshit argument used solely to justify messing with canon for an agenda. You let them change characters when it "dOeSnT mAtTeR", and then they're emboldened to make changes when it does. Just look at Queen Cleopatra, Troy: Fall of a City, or various Nordic characters in recent media. And it always goes one way for them.
How stupid do you have to be to screw up "skin white as snow"? There's no ambiguity there, no room for interpretation. It's super obvious, it's in the name.
