I mistakenly thought this would be a Melissa McCarthy comedy. Maybe a gangster version of “9 to 5,” with the gals taking over. It’s certainly not comedy and not even a good gangster movie. No intrigue or good lines. (I might’ve liked it better if Regal Cinema hadn’t ripped me off $9 for 3 oz. of crummy wine.)

And please don't tell me you just look at actors names, and assume it will be a comedy because that's what they are known for.
Many, many comedic actors have made serious movies. That should not be a surprise.

i saw the pictures of the film with MM, it looked like a comedy
then i saw the trailer. not a comedy. so i didnt watch it.
And I mistakenly thought -- by the title and it starring 3 women -- that this was a show about home remodeling and relationships!
