Seemed very out of character. We know barry has considered suicide, so I think he is ok with dying, knowing he's in a no win situation. I think it was added just to explain why he let them take him alive.
shareI think he just kind of snapped. It's been a crazy few weeks for him and he was unstable to begin with. I think seeing his friend, whose life he saved and constantly thinks about, showing up and surprising him while he's burying a body, was the straw that broke the camel's back.
shareYes, he's definitely breaking, but when he dropped to his knees I thought he was going to beg him to shoot him. Seemed more in line with his fall. They have shown he's afraid of going to he'll, so maybe that's his new arc. Friggin crazy end of the season though.

sharemaybe he was saying 'no please no' about bringing Chris up. that is the one kill that makes him feel guilty as anything. and that is where his 'acting' performance came from season 1 when he cried about the only friend he had that he had to kill
