Not guilty but not innocent

I watched all 5 parts of this documentary and I have to say that I really loved it. One thing that struck me was the jurors of the murder trial saying they voted not guilty as revenge for Rodney King. Two wrongs don't make a right, and it's a huge problem if that was the reasoning. It's clear from the little time they spent deliberating that it was a done deal from the start for some that he was not guilty.

However, while I don't agree with the reasons behind the verdict, the fact is that it was the right verdict. I don't believe the cops planted evidence, but one thing that I don't see mentionned anywhere is that the glove, the blood trail and all other evidence they got at the Simpson house should have been excluded.

Detective Furhman claims they jumped the gate because they were scared for OJ's life, hence why they did not get a search warrant. That's B.S., the murder scene at Bundy was a bloody mess. There was a tiny speck of blood on the Bronco door, and a little bit of blood inside. The bronco was parked on the street so that was fair game, the minute they saw that, they should have gotten a search warrant because clearly they believed OJ was a suspect. There was nowhere near enough blood to truly believe he was in danger.

With that being said, OJ clearly had something to do with the murders, there's too much evidence pointing to him and there's nothing that disproves it was him. I think he had an accomplice though, a 46 year old man with only a knife was able to brutally murder 2 people and he only got a small cut on one of his fingers? Also, if Nicole saw him lurking outside her house, why would she go out to confront him and not call the police? Someone lured her out and helped OJ kill her and Goldman.

reply

Two wrongs don't make a right but that's how people are.

I think OJ killed Nicole by accident. He went there to have it out with Nicole probably about screwing other men in the same house with his kids. You can't blame OJ. Any man man and father would be not put up with that. Nicole was a Ho even when she still married to OJ. Ron was killed by accaccident too. He tried to defend Nicole and OJ killed him by accident. Nicole told OJ to go screw himself and OJ lost and killed her. Oj thought Oh No what have I done! Hence the great white bronco chase.

reply

Any man wouldn't put up with their ex wife having a relationship with someone else?? That's an insane thought.

reply

I wouldn't call it an accident, but I would call it a crime of passion. So I don't think it was premeditated. I'm also really curious to see if OJ turns out to have CTE from football which could make his violence less controllable. Unfortunately, the only way to diagnose CTE so far is during an autopsy so we won't know until after he's dead.

reply

Not only am I convinced that Simpson is the culprit, but I also think the murders were pre-meditated. How else would you explain Simpson bringing gloves, a knit cap, a knife, etc to Nicole's condo that night? There's also Simpson's suspicious actions during the days leading up to the homicides, such as him buying a disguise he case he needed to go on the run.

reply

I never thought of it that way before, that it was premeditated but it makes sense with what you wrote. Even if it was premeditated by a couple of hours. He was severely sick and clearly thought of Nicole as his property. That is so dark. I wonder how he would have felt as a kid if some man thought of Eunice as his property and made her scared and miserable while she was trying to parent her kids. He's a sick piece of crap that was for sure "made in america"

I think he had the element of surprise on his side plus rage. Most people have never had to physically defend themselves and ron was out of his element in that regard. Meanwhile OJ has had years of diving fearlessly through huge dudes trying to body slam him on the field. I am sure he was fearless in the face of ron and nicole's surprise and whatever meager attempts to defend themselves.

I've read your posts on a few other boards, and you strike me as a reasonable person.

I'd considered it being a crime of passion, but that doesn't explain why he had, and put on, the gloves, as well as the cap, and brought a knife, as well as having the beard, his passport, and a relatively large sum of money on his person when he left the following day or two later.

I can't get around these things in order to call it a crime of passion. I believe it was premeditated, as a result. How long prior had he planned it? I can't say; no one except he could. An hour, a few hours, a day? I don't know, but I can't escape the fact that it was premeditated, IMO. Even 5 minutes, or less, constitutes premeditation in the eyes of the law.

I think he was on a slow boil in the week or weeks preceding the murders, and that night, he boiled over.

Your "accidental deaths" are two-counts of 2nd-degree murder. There is no such thing as an accident when the victims have 5 stab wounds and a slit throat.

reply

Oh yes, blame the victim. You're an epic scumbag. Nicole was brutally murdered and your calling her names.

She's not allowed a relationship with with anyone else all because she had kids!? Really!? But let me guess, OJ is? He can whatever? What an A-Hole.

And how was she a "Ho?" Because she had kids? Because she didn't turn the other cheek when her abusive husband hit her? Because she divorced his lousy ass? Because she didn't turn into a spinster after her divorce?

You're an idiot.

reply

He sliced her throat clear back to the vertebrae by accident?

reply

An accident is going to grocery and buying skim milk instead of 2%. Nearly chopping two people's head off is not an accident.

reply

I just watched part four last night. He stabbed Nicole first then Ron came and he turned his attention toward Ron. He didn't fight off two people at once and even if he had one was a woman who was no way in hell any match for OJ who was still in decent shape at the time.

reply

Absolutely guilty and enough evidence to support it, I have no idea how you could conclude otherwise.

reply

Of course OJ was a suspect from the get go, but the cops did have to make sure OJ was also not a target. Finding blood outside his house, and on his car is definitely reasonable enough to enter the property. What if the real killer was there, holding OJ hostage, or what if he had been stabbed but was still alive, and there was a chance to save him. This was the middle of the night, and waiting for a search warrant could be the difference between life and death. A lot less than blood drops outside of a house have been considered probably cause before.

And there was more than just a speck of blood on the door and a bit inside. There was at plenty of blood in the Bronco that was visible from the outside, and a trail of blood all over the outside of the house, and in the house to OJ's bedroom and shower.

reply

That m f'ing OJ is 100 percent guilty of slaughtering two people. He got off because an ignorant jury decided to use his case to get back at the White Man for something completely irrelevant. What a bunch of morons.
